With more than ten years of experience managing research operations for The Olinger Group, Chanttel Allen now oversees all operations for The Olinger Group as Managing Director. Allen also handles strategic planning, sales and marketing – ensuring the company’s long-term growth and goals are met. Allen is constantly in contact with clients, ensuring they are satisfied with current and completed research projects. She directly supervises The Olinger Group’s project managers, who constantly monitor data collection in the field.
Chanttel believes The Olinger Group’s attention to detail and personalized service give clients more than they expect when embarking on challenging research projects. “I think they feel like they have an intimate relationship with our company. We do our best to support them and make them look good,” says Allen. She also points to the firm’s variety of clients, from healthcare to real estate to consumer goods, as a reason why The Olinger Group can offer a unique insight. “We bring our experiences from working with other clients to every project we do.”
It was Chanttel’s operations and project management skills that helped The Olinger Group quickly recover after Hurricane Katrina destroyed the company’s offices in 2005. Days after the storm, she set up a temporary office in Texas and continued to manage research projects. She and The Olinger Group Founder and CEO, Jude Olinger, later re-established offices in New Orleans. Due to these efforts, the firm was able to meet all client deadlines in the weeks and months after the hurricane.
Allen is actively engaged in the national market research community. She served as President of the Southeast Chapter of the Marketing Research Association for 2008 – 2009 and also received the Chapter Service Award for 2007 – 2008. Chanttel has an Expert Professional Research Certification and is a member of the Project Management Institute and the Society for Human Research Managers.
Prior to joining The Olinger Group, Chanttel worked as a manager for an accounting firm in New Orleans. She also has experience in the legal and banking industries both in Louisiana and Texas.
