Content or Text Analysis

Any text, whether from press releases and news coverage, advertising or marketing materials, user comments like online reviews, blogs, social media postings and exchanges, or open end survey responses and in-depth interviews can be subjected to content analysis.

Traditional content analysis required arduous subjective reading and systematic coding, often requiring multiple coders.  Today, advances in computing power, artificial intelligence, and programmed linguistics theory makes content analysis a more concrete and repeatable process. The Olinger Groups uses state-of-the-art text analysis and mining software to analyze content and valence of these sources of information which were often overlooked or minimized because of the labor intensive nature of coding and potentially unreliable results of analysis.
